Dr. Robert Sweitzer
Robert W. Sweitzer, Ph.D., RScP, began his practitioner studies at the Claremont Church of Religious Science with Rev. Patt Perkins and concluded his studies with Reverend Hilary Taylor, Evensong West Ministries. Under Evensong West ministries, he and his wife Pamella spent two years as 'Practitioners at Large' serving Wellspring Church, under the guidance of Reverend Sam Ritchey in Las Cruces, New Mexico before moving to Henderson NV in 2007 and serving Reverend Cynthia Clair at the Center, a Model for Positive Living, as Practitioner at Large. He completed his first practitioner license renewal last year with Evensong West Ministries.
Bob assists with Foundation classes and with Practitioner classes. He and Pamella co-teach Treatment and Meditation, and special seminars, such as a recent offering on "The Moses Code." He serves the congregation at the Center in Las Vegas, NV with One Minute Miracles and practitioner sessions.
In 2008 he joined the faculty of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas as Director of the Office of Technology Transfer after holding a similar position at New Mexico State University. Previously he was on the faculty of Pepperdine University in the Graziadio School of Business & Management where he taught marketing management. In 1989 Professor Sweitzer became a faculty member at the Peter F. Drucker Graduate Management School of the Claremont Graduate University, receiving the Graduate School's Professor of the Year honors in 1997.
He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial management from Purdue University and an MBA and Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Bob moved to Los Angeles in 1979 to join the faculty of UCLA’s Graduate School of Management, where he taught until 1985, moving to London, England to work on the privatization of British Shipbuilders for the Thatcher government. He remains active as a consultant with the business community, recently working with Internet turnarounds, alternative fuels project, biotech startups and nanotechnology.
