Rev Denise Judd
Rev. Denise Judd has been involved with Science of Mind for over 18 years and a licensed minister for 6. After traveling, speaking and teaching around the U.S. and also as part of a trip to Africa with Rev. Dr. Michael Beckwith, she followed the call of Spirit to North Carolina where she now calls home. As the Founder and Spiritual Director of Practicing The Presence Community and Education Center, her vision is to provide opportunities to learn and practice universal principles in a safe and supportive community environment. For those who know her well, working with youth is also a passion, so she also founded Close the Gap Ministries in 2005 where she creates engaging, unifying programs for youth and adults, including outdoor adventure programs and seasonal celebrations.
In addition to her Masters in Consciousness Studies from the Holmes Institute, her Masters of Education in Youth Development from Concordia University provides a base as she works with adults and youth. Using the principles of Science of Mind and other New Thought philosophies to promote spiritual deepening and insight, she facilitates the recognition of the Divine Presence within to empower the lives of those she counsels. Rev. Denise endeavors to provide a playful and fun environment in her work because joy is an integral part of our connection to all of life.
